Mighty Blackpool scored a first half penalty to defeat FC Kallon by a lone goal in a friendly match at the FC Kallon Angola Field. The penalty won after Bangali was brought down was converted by Kandeh. It was well earned after MBFC dominated the first half proceedings. In the second half a plethora of changes were made and Blackpool's tactics changed astutely as they set up to counter FC Kallon on the break. Bangali upfront lead the line and started the counter press very effectively at the halfway line. Bangali was very industrious and worked very hard on his pressing effectively not allowing the Kallon FC midfield any time on the ball and forcing them into silly mistakes. Bangali - Striker Nasri, Kandeh and Kwame were totally outmatching the opposing defenders and creating many opportunities. MBFC Legend and FC Kallon Coach, Musa Kallon was the referee. After some banter from the MBFC fans started to get out of hand, he firmly reminded them that he was a Blackpool Legend, to absolute applause from the MBFC fans. Kwame, though was again chiefly responsible for keeping the game close as after dribbling his defender in the box, he was left one-on-one with the FC Kallon Goalkeeper; with Nasri to his right and the lone keeper in front of him, he produced neither a shot or a pass as he seemingly got caught in two minds. The final whistle blew moments after that. The performance was very positive and the boys were able to adjust tactically at the back, showing a lot of composure and tactical discipline.
